I remember all those special things
the sound of your voice
the poems that you sent me
the special nights we talked for hours

When I think of these
a special wonder occurs
I look into my heart
and find you waiting there

You know that you have become
a part of me now
there was an emptiness in my heart
that I didn't know existed

till you came along
and showed me your love
and now that love is growing
as I maintain it day by day

I water it with thoughts of you
even though you are so far away
it helps to take away the gloom
that used to be my lot
